Clear/Smoked Sidemarkers & Amber Bulbs. Needed?
Is it required that the sidemarkers give off an amber light? The stock bulbs are clear with the amber lens. Switching to clear/smoked sidemarkers makes the turn signal clear.
I understand that amber is required for the corner turn signal (which comes with amber bulb). If amber is needed (federal or state law?) can you get this through the dealer or do I need to search at Pep Boys, Grand Auto, etc.?
I've searched the archives and found differing opinions. Does anyone know for sure?
Wondering if I'll get pulled over for this.
-Andrew
98.5 2.8qms, clear corners (amber bulbs), smoked sidemarkers (clear bulbs)

Ambe,amber,amber
Use amber bulbs everwhere. Clear side repeaters look good with amber anyways. Go to your local auto supply. they carry those series of bulbs. Also, the corners, use your amber bulbs existing.
I saw a tacky lowered honda with all clear/white lighting with white bulbs. Baaad!
Also illegal.
