I get a single slick noise as I apply the brakes> At times I think it is coming from the rear, but mostly it sound as if front right side.
It has to be related to pushing in on the brake pedal for th noise to occur, so suspension pretty much ruled out.
Any ideas??

What pads do you have? I have Mintex Reds and 40k miles on the car. I have only had the mintex pads for about 2 or 3k miles. I hear the sounds from the rear also. They click when I first apply brakes. It sounds like they rattle in the carrier just a tiny bit. Anyways just lately the sound seems to be almost gone, or is it maybe because I got used to it? I'm going to try and pay attention to it again. But I couldn't ever find anything wrong.
