Good Morning everyone....I just noticed that i have a clicking noise on my front end. I hear it the most when im turning. While im driving straight i can hear a ticking but it isnt as loud as when i turn. It also speeds up as i do. When im turning it sounds exactly like the CV joints but i replaced the right side 2 months ago and the left side about 6 months ago. Any ideas on what it might be. Thanks in advance.

Possibly they, or one of them is defective? You might consider a new axle or a high quality reman unit.

They both installed with no problems.

Did you torque up the collar bolt properly? You might go around and check the torque. If the grease is not packed all the way through, they will start to make noise as well. In fact, when I use those types of reman axles, I'll go through the packet they give and a bunch of moly grease from the tub I have in the garage.

Alright, thanks. i will check both of those this weekend. Someone i worked with said i might have a problem with the front diff. Anyone ever experience problems with that?
