I've been hearing a clunk in the rear passenger side of my car and I am out of warranty.
I am going into the dealer today to have them check out my front left control arm (AofA might be helping me out). Is there anything i can have the techs tighten or grease that might fix the problem??? I hope the shock isn't bad.

What the deal with control arms? I have 56k miles on my car and its out of warranty and the control arms are squeeking on my front right wheel. Will Audi pay for this repair?

I'm trying to convince them that they are a manufacturer's "shortcoming." They said i need to have the dealer "diagnose" the problem and then they will see what they can do.
I will keep you updated on what happens.

Depending on the year of the vehicle. Most model years had plastic links I believe- Only a couple of years had the metal. Common problem that I believe can be remedied for not a lot of $$ at an independant repair shop.
