Recently I hear a clunk sound (sometimes feel like some metal within the door is crashing against it - hard to describe here)when closing the front passenger door.

It is happening intermittently. Sometimes the sound is very loud but sometimes you can hardly notice it.

Any suggestions? Going to get the dealer to check when bringing in to service this week.

shake the door when you have it opened. It may be a linkage inside the door itself. If you have the time, go ahead and take it apart. You just may find your problem.
