clunking noise
I am getting a clunking noise while going over bumps I can also sometimes make it come when I turn the wheel side to side. I lifted the car and couldn't find anything obviously wrong and the wheels do not have any play. Is there some other possibility?
I can get slight noise when I turn the wheel forward and reverse so I am starting to suspect a CV joint but I thought those usually clicked when turning if they are bad.

what year are you? is it coming from the rear?
specifically, which tire.
if it's from the rear, could be your sway bar end links. just look under the car and you will be able to see it broken.
the reason i ask for year, is that the newer b5s had plastic ones which tend to break. older ones had metal.
