Clunking noise...can't seem to figure it out maybe somene can help
Well, I have been getting this clunking noise that appears to be coming from somewhere under my feet in the drivers seat. The closest description I can give is, that it sounds like the ball inside of a WD-40 can. Everytime I turn or brake hard, or accelerate hard, I hear it. Now i strongly believe it is not my control arms. I just had that issue resolved about a month ago by the stealership. Does anyone have any guess or maybe comparable problem that they have dealt with?

sorry but the ball in a wd40 can makes a rattle not a clunk. anyway if when turning you hear a click
ing noise related to speed it could be the cv joint. If you hear a clunking noise when braking hard it could be the ABS in operation which is normal. If you hear rattling noise when at wot it could be the dreaded pinging. need more detail to help. If the noise is the same when you turn brake and accelerate then it could be exhaust/heat shield come on now we need more details

sound like its a bad control arm...
tie rod ends and sway bar linkage cause clunking but only when turning from my experience. BAd control arm busshings will clunk over the smallest bumps. It sound like you suspension could just fall off at any time. Pull your wheel and check all the bushings for dry rot and tearing.
