Clunking under my car.......

When I ever I stop and then I take off again theres a clunk.....I am pretty sure its my drive shaft anyother suggestions.......By the way I drive a 96 A4 2.8qm w/ 117xxx on it.

P.S. I am not surprised cause of the high miles just wonderin if any ideas....has anyone else had this problem.....How much to fix it.

check for dead bodies. maybe small animal or something bigger...

no really... could it be brake related? are the shoes and calipers nice and tight on the carriers?

Ya umm thats another posibilty I have thought off...I would love that to be true much cheaper and I might get better brakes...How cool I check that......thanx
