Default Well, too much power

And, 1.8s may not have those stock... but neither did my 2.8. I added the supercharger myself. A few other members on the board have such systems. In fact, the S/C I removed was just installed on another car yesterday (SpeedyDTP). Theoretically, stock power in the 2.8 is 190, whereas the supercharged version hops up to 280, a little more, eh?

anyway, my clutch slipped a lot with the supercharger as it could not handle the excess power.

My word, that must have been quite something.

Default Re: I think there are holes in the bell housing...

how about an X-ray or a CT? :-)

or, put a stethoscope, turn on the engine and start listening :-) you should hear the heartbeat of the clutch :-)

c'mon RKA, are you serious? you can see the flywheel and the pressure plate in the best case. clutch is between the flywheel and pressure plate, so you can't see it
