I'm not the tallest guy (5'3"), but I can, for the most part, fit quite comfortably in the A4 cockpit. Problem is, when seat and wheel are adjusted so that I can properly reach the pedals, the door handle window switchgear is a bit far back. If I move the seat back to ease this, I can still reach the accelerator and brake pedals just fine, but full depression of the clutch is a leg-straining stretch. Is it best to just deal with the window switchgear or to get a clutch pedal extender and sit farther back? If the latter, any recommendations? In all cases, I'm a safe distance from the airbag (thanks the the telescoping wheel).

Someone sent out a diagram/MS Word document with the pedal extender (I was interested for my 5' mother; he did it for the better heel-and-toe shifting) - if you e-mail me later in the week I'll send it to you.
-josh
98.5 2.8qms

My father and I produce pedal extensions (I'm 3'8") and have shorter (3" to 5") ones for people who can almost reach the existing pedals. They slide over the pedal and tighten with wing nuts.
E-Mail me your postal address if interested and I'll send you a brochure.
A standard clutch runs $50 unless there is massive rework to make it fit the existing pedal.

why bother? you know how high the clutch engages. you really only need to depress it about half way while driving. yeah, you need to put it to the floor to start the thing, but one leg stretch a drive works for me
