Clutch Stop

I have never been able to find a completely satisfactory seat position for my A4 (I have a 1.8T with standard manual seats). The problem I have is that if I move my seat far back enough so that my right leg is comfortable, then I can barely stick the clutch in all the way with the left leg (yes, both my legs are the same length).
I am pretty sure that the last two inches of travel on the clutch are completely useless, which is why I want to find a clutch stop that would reduce the distance that I have to stick in the clutch.
I realize that I could just not stick the clutch in all the way when I shift, but I don't like the feeling of the clutch just floating in mid-depression instead of being fully depressed.
Has anyone found a clutch stop that works with the A4? The problem also is that if you have a clutch stop, you can't stick the clutch pedal in all the way, which means that the safety mechanism that only allows you to start your car once the clutch is pushed in, would have to be readjusted. Is that possible? Or can the safety mechanism be bipassed?
Here's a link to some people who make clutch stops for BMWs but I don't think they make them for Audis

Any suggestions are appreciated.

you would have to find the sensor, check it with a multimeter, find out what changes when you push the clutch in. I am willing to bet it is a wire with no electricity thru it until the pedal hits the floor, then it goes to a 12v + line... so, based on that assumption, if you were to wire that line to a 12v constant wire from your fuse box area, you would have a car that thinks, so far as that sensor is concerned, that the clutch is always on the floor.
this may have other ramifications on the system, and any mods are at your own risk,...
