Clutch travel.......can the take up be set lower in the stroke?

Clutch travel.......can the take up be set lower in the stroke?

I would like to adjust my clutch to engage much earlier in the pedal travel (closer to the floor). Wondering if any of you guys have made this sadjustment or if it's even possible.

I didn't know this was ever possible. I've never heard of that, but it would be really cool.

heard that it is possible. I think it was Audiboy that did it to his 2.8

Was thinking this today coming to work. Since it's hydraulic (I think) you would have to adjust

the fulcrum of the "lever" on the clutch pedal. Anyone know if this is possible. I would assume that the Audi race cars do not have this long of a throw.
