i have a 99.5 a4 i'm going to the dealership to pick up the parts coilpack & spark plugs from somewhere us they want to charge 13.00 for 1 spark i think audi service people a smoking some awful **** over there

pick and chose which coil pack you want to replace. I think it is a 5mm allen bolt, remove two bolts securing a coil pack.
With coil pack loose and slightly pulled out from spark plug, Pry up the wire connector retaining clip uwing fingernails or small screw driver. As you pull up the wire retaining clip, the wire connector will start to move out Then when wire connectors are out, pull coil pack out. You will see the coil pack attaced to a (~5") long spark plug connector. You can yank that spark plug connector out from the coil pack on your model year.
Install is reverse of dissassembly - probably the most used installation line
