Supersprint is supposedly the quietest
I haven't heard it personally though. It's not a full cat-back either. I've heard a Scorpian exhaust and I remember it being fairly quiet, but I didn't have anything to compare it to. Milltek is probably the quietest full cat-back. In the cabin it's not noticeable at coast or idle, slightly at 1/2 throttle and nice and full sounding at WOT.

APR exhaust pics...
It is a very quiet exhaust. It looks and fits great, no complaints.

Re: Supersprint is supposedly the quietest
Very good info... here in Maine they passed some ridiculous laws that prevent people from modifying their exhaust. Is it completely useless to get a larger downpipe (2.5") or so and run it into the stock exhaust? Is that even possible? I'd like to get the benefits of a larger exhaust without making a noticeable sound difference.

Well, you could put on a 2.5" dp
but since the rest of the system is only like 2" or 2.25, it wouldn't do you any good because you'd have to immediately step it down again. I really don't think the Milltek will be a problem for you. Most people never notice it, although it does turn the heads of most car enthusiasts at full throttle.

thanks...
Thanks... that's good to hear. Funny how we Audi folk tend to stay away from the coffee can exhausts that seem to be all over the place. $845 isn't bad -- I'd probably try to find a place that would install it for me... I've been wanting to do my exhaust for a while, but would really like to hear one in person before I spring for it. Does it need any modifications to prevent CELs?

Well, both the Milltek and APR are pretty expensive
in retrospect it's still a good upgrade but I think I should have upgraded my suspension first. I'd definitely go with the Milltek again though. You won't get any CELs as long as you leave your catalytic converter alone.
