Default Compare rear visibility: Sedan vs. Avant . . . .

I can't decide which one has better rear visibility. The only thing I've noticed is that since the avant's rear window is further back you get less peripheral vision.

Default They are about the same. For me, it is the B pillar that causes me grief..

They have the same blind spot. My wife actually prefers the sedan, she says the Avant is too long (feeling) when it is actually shorter by an inch or so.

Default I like the Avant better then the sedan...

probably because I drive one every day. But what I mostly notice when I drive an A4 sedan is that since the rear window is at such an angle you get more virtical visability with the Avant. Probably not a lot though.

Default I'm surprised that no one else ever brought that up . . . .

I have my seat all the way back because of my height. From that position, when I look left or right the B-pillar is always in the way. It's particularly annoying at intersections where you really have to do some gymnastics to look around the B-pillar.

Is that what you mean by "blind spot"?

Default Yes, when you look to the left to change lanes, all you see is the seatbelt...

Also, the mirrors don't cover enough of an area for me, I would love the convex mirror on the drivers side too..

That's easy: order a UK passenger-side mirror (-:

Default Ditto. Thus why I added the small convex mirrors...

Default no problem whatsoever - think about the temp of the heater vs the temp from the sun in the summer

the heater hardly even warms it, in comparison
