for the size and lifting capability it's pretty good. 40lbs is light enough as a portable pit jack

My AC Hydraulics weighs in at 60+...so yes, 40 is lightweight.

Default Can you give the Craftsman the smurfette test?
Mid Ohio last year...
Event is over, Smurfette is swapping wheels before hitting the road. She rolls the HF-type jack under he car...starts to pump, and stops. Not enough weight to "pump the pole". :-P
