I agree I think that everyone needs to address Audi America. When I was speaking to them they said the only way they can make it a recall is if people phone in and complain. Well I did and if everyone else does and don't just go out and spend the crazy amount to fix it or not we would have a recall. Then no one would have to spend the BIG $$$ and it would be free. I think if you've heard of third I've heard of at least that many. This car has many little problems but when it looks at you every time you get into it. You end up fixing it. You should have to fix a problem that's isn't yours. :O(

That allows you to:
1. Determine if the issue you are having is common.
2. Determine how/if there is a fix for the problem.
3. Locate alternative sources for the parts you desire so you can fix the problem.
4. Find instructions on how to replace the defective part and/or other necessary steps that might be needed when you install it.
5. Find out what "vag.com" is and a few other wierd terms in the posts uncovered in your search.
6. Determine the best way to sell your car.

issues, faulty ignition control amplifiers, oil sludge build up (that audi won't cover under their own warranty), cheap wheel bearings, brake pads that separate from their backing plates, faulty ABS control modules, bad coilpacks on their 10th revision, and a host of other issues that are a bit more important than a trip computer display. We'll put it on the list though.
