Currently i have a pioneer head unit that is XM eqipped already. i know that i can buy the digital satellite radio tuner and hook it up to the head unit and run it like that. thats not what i wanted to do.
i wanted to get delphi xm radio itself and hook that up to my existing unit. i dont understand what i else i need to make this work now. i read that i can use my existing fm radio antenna but im not sure. im pretty sure i need the fm modulator too but not sure as well..and the vehicle kit for the dash mount and so on. im lost
to sum up, i want to run the xm radio unit, on the dash mount through my esxisting radio. is that how it works? can u guys tell me what i need to make this work? all the components? or just the xm radio reciever and the modulator. thanks

but basically the delphi XM kit and the FM modulator kit as well. FM kit is so you can hear the sound through an FM station such as 88.1

that's what you need to play in your car. if you want to move it around, you'll have to purchase extra kits.
