Default Control arm install help

Ive already searched the forum, and the tech. articles with no luck. Can anyone point me to somewhere that goes through the whole installation of a meyle control arm kit?

I found one partial install decription that went through the lower arms. It mentioned a special tool you need? Is this really neccessary? If so, where can I get it (or rent it).

Any help would be appreciated. I just got the kit and plan on doing this over the weekend.

Default I replaced all my front control arms with no special tools.

I've never heard of a meyle control arm kit. What is it?

The only special tools you need is the one that breaks the lower ball joints apart without damaging the rubber seals around the bushing. I just rented a crows foot to break it apart, which damaged the bushings, but I didn't care because I was replacing them anyway.

the meyle kit is the upgraded control arms that ECS sells. Supposedly fixes the problems we've had with the older control arms that commonly go bad. We'll see...

Default That's were I got my control arms so they're probably the same ones.

The install went very well. I've had them in for about 3 months now and no issues. I just bought all of them since it was so cost effective.
But like I said, if you're replacing the lower arms you can rent a crows foot from AutoZone to get the ball joints apart. That's what I did. It would have saved a lot more time had I rented it before I started.
