Default control arm noise situation... questions....

About a month ago (at 21000 miles) I had a lower control arm replaced for a squeeling/rubbing type noise when turning the steering wheel. Dealer took care of it (even though it was slightly beyond warrantee).

Now I've noticed the same sound again! I assume it could be another of the control arms.

Questions: Which of the control arms cause the squeeling/rubbing noise? How many of them are there? Which ones are known to fail? I'm just wondering how many I'll have to go through. And, does anyone know for sure if the new ones are any better?

Thanks!

Are these 3 upper joints on a lower or upper control arm?

Default Two on the lower, two on the upper, one for tie-rod...

none of these are the problem. Generally, it's the lower control arm bushings (where the arms attached to the chassis). Either the rubber self destructs, or the outer sleeve spins in the aluminum arm and destroys the arm. That's what causes the noise.
