Excuse me for being a n00b. I have a 96 V6 FWD.
Dose anyone know if the control arm recal is effective in Australia?
The other day I got a very clunky vibration through the car and like something was knocking when it was wet and the wheels slipped a little on the road.
What are the symptoms of a faulty control arm?
Is there anyway I can check to see if mine are dodgy?

Even if the control arm recall is available in Aus... (I don't see why it wouldn't, just call a dealer near you), it is only good for the front, lower arm (IIRC). I don't think these are the ones to go bad usually.
I noticed my upper, fronts make a clunk (like a muffled knuckle popping sound) when going over speed bumps. The best way to tell is to raise the front end and wiggle the tire. If you hear noise or see excessive play in the arms, you need to replace them.
Good luck.
