Default Control Arm Replacement.

I need to replace my control arms upper and lower. I am getting the clunking from the uppers and the squeaks from the lowers. My question is that I have done some searching and have come up with conflicting answers between kits. I have been looking at the Febi/Bilstien, Meyle, Lemfoerder and TRW. Who makes the best kit? I would rather spend more now than have to buy it again in a year or two. Also, who is the manufacture of the oem's?

Febi Bilstien, Lemfoerder, and TRW are OEM makers. PureMS sells the Febi kit for $450.

Default Custom Performance Products makes a nice but pricey upgrade kit

Default my Febi kit has some cracking in the LCA bushings after 11K miles...

The front suspension design is flawed in that it places lateral stresses on those rubber bushings. Some have mentioned using urethane replacements to prevent both bushing and ball joint failure. Not sure where these are available from though

Default i've had this creeking with febi arms which didn't happen with the trw arms....

powerflex makes urethane bushings but they may not fit all brands of arms.

Default I have Meyle outer tie-rod ends...definitely beefier than stock O.E.M....and

so far so good after around 3,000 miles.

UPDATE: I forgot I have a couple of upper control arms by Meyle as well......good stuff

Default The most popular kits seem to be the Febi/Bilstein and the Meyle. I don't know which to buy...

They are priced very close to each other. What are the pluses of either kit? Anyone else have one of either of these kits installed for an extended period of time? How are they wearing and how many miles have you put on them?
