Default Control Arms

Hi, I know that I have to replace the control arm(s) on my 96 A4 2.8Q. My wuestion is: which arm(s) do I have to replace? and how much they cost?
[It is really bother me when I drive on the bumper, or out of parking lot].

Thank you.

Default I'd have a professional take a look to determine what needs replacement...

I've had both lower control arms replaced as well as one (right) upper control arm.

The symptoms were different. For the lower, it was squeaking/creaking sound when going over bumps. For the upper, it was a loose, rattling sound when going over rough uneven pavement.

We can't tell you what needs replacement over the internet. The best thing to do would be to describe your symptoms to a tech and have them determine what needs replacement.

I don't know about cost, since mine was covered under warranty.

Good luck,

Default Wrong...there are 4 arms on each front side $350 to $450 each!

A Quattro also has 2 control arms on each side rear. You could end up paying about $4,000 to $5,000 to replace all of them.
