Control arms....can you just replace the bushings, is that usually what goes out first?

I was told by a mechanic that my control arms are loose, I assume this requires just replacing the bushings, not all of the control arms? Right? My car makes a sound when going over bumps, like something is very loose in the front end, I just replaced the Outer Tie Rod ends...so I guess these are next?

I believe it can be done, but I don't even recall where you can get the bushings (not at the dealer, they will only sell you the whole arm). Most people replace the entire control arm. Good luck

You can't really replace "just the bushings" in the stock control arms. The rubber bushings are molded into the arm. I do remember someone selling aftermarket arms with replaceable bushings tho.
Cheers,
