Default Conversion Question (B5 to B6)

I was wondering if anyone knows if the fenders from a B6 platform would work on the B4. They look like they are similar in size. I'm sure there would be a lot to swap out to make this conversion, but I'm curious if anyone knows if you could take the front end (ie bumper, valance, hood and fenders) from a B6 and swap it onto a B5. That's the first part of this question.

Default Just look at them first...

Don't look anything alike, I'm sure it could be done (with enough $$$) but the lines are completely different. It would look horrible.

Well part two of the question is this:
I like how the new A4 looks (the soon to be released version) and that front end is sweet. I'm just curious if you could swap that out with a B6 because the fender lines look very identical.

So, if you could swap a new A4 with a B6 and a B6 works with a B5, then you could swap the new A4 front onto a B5 model.

I used to be into custom trucks and was bulding an 83 Toyota and swapping the front end with a 2001 Tacoma. I've got this weird thing for conversions for some reason.

The B7 might look like the B6, but the B5 looks nothing like them.

Default Sounds like you'd know more about the possibility than anyone on here.

not many A4 guys are into extreme body conversions. But you should feel good since you're getting better responses than the guy that wanted to just swap a B6 trunk with the B5 trunk.

After looking at pics of a B6 and B5, it does seem possible. Looks like a lot of hacking apart would have to be done though. If you chopped the two fenders apart (b5 and b6) and created them into one with pieces of both models, you can get a fender to work. Then it seems that it wouldn't take much modifying to make the front end work. Maybe just make a few new mounts. That makes me wonder if they are the same in lenght and height. Why do I have to be so difficult?

I used to build minitrucks and I'm used to the hacking apart and welding back together thing. I think I need to let that at ease a little and just be happy with the kits out there. I just think my stock front end is to dull. It looks to boring for me and I want something loud. I was looking at an Uberhaus front end, but I really like the new A4 front a lot.
