coolant change

I just heard that Audi has special coolant for their cars. I have a 98.5 A4 Q tip and had low coolant a few months back. I topped up the coolant with Prestone antifreeze mixed with water (can't remember the ratio). Should I be concerned that this will cause some damage?
I heard that only Audi fluids should be used with our cars. I'll fill with Audi fluids from now on but would Audi make special fluids? Wouldn't that be quite costly for Audi to do?

I'd flush it out and use the pink Audi coolant. Actually it's also known as G12 or long life coolant. No engine damage by mixing the two you just lose the long life effectiveness.
