Default Audi Service at Palisades put green coolant in my car at the last service

it's green coolant -- I had the system flushed
and refilled... Did he screw up?

No, there are G12 compatible coolants that are green.

Default Worse yet, the non compliant coolants contain...

I think phosphates and sulphates that corrode aluminum.

Default It's a '97 and above requirement only. Don't know what year your car is, but I see 12V, which half

of them used green. But I'm switching to the pink stuff because the orange stuff I bought at Kragen is crap.

mine is a 96' - actual build date is 01/26/96 -- but I think my old coolant was pinkish.

Default Found this in an old post....

...."You'll need to buy the proper kind which is compatible with Aluminium radiators. I'd use either the Halvoline Extended Life 5/150 (5 years of 150,000 miles which ever comes first) or the Prestone stuff the DEX-COOL certified crap..this is a GM spec for aluminum compatible long life radiator coolant. I've used both of these products and they work great.

What do you think?
