I havent noticed any big reduction in coolant level, no warning light either. During an oil change my mechanic noticed this and said there is "coolant pump (water pump?) and oil cooler hose seepage" I'm only at 43,500 miles/3.5 yrs so its too early for timing belt and water pump replacement. Thinking i'll ride it out unless its gets worse and then do the whole TB, water pump replacement at 60K. Sound good?

I trust them more than the place that told me I need to get a bunch of stuff replaced. I went for an oil change and came out with an estimate of $600 for work that needed to be done. Plus they said I should do my timing belt if I haven't. I have, but just to see what they charged I asked. $1500. Crazy. It was Curry's in Chantilly, they do good work and they are right next to my work, but they are expensive.
