Coolant temperature drops at high rpms!
Since I put in the thermostat of the Greedspeed K04 kit, I noticed the instrument cluster shows engine temp dropping at sustained high RPMs.
When I first noticed it I also looked at the engine temp measurement through the A/C display (channel 51). It always shows 90 C.
Today I logged it with vag-com, and sure enough, coolant temp is indicated to drop as low as 72 C when sustaining over 4k. But it starts dropping at 3k rpm or so.
The thermostat looked a crappy one, but I am confused why the A/C reports steady 90 C. Can this be a sensor prob or should I get a new thermostat?
TIA

Re: Sounds like the temp sensor. When mine went, the climate control still read 90C
