Default Correct gapping

Could someone tell me what the correct plug gapping on a 01 1.8t? The part store said .028, but someone else told me .044, plus the plugs I bought were 'pre gapped' at like .039-.04. Which is correct.

Default Yes, NGK copper .032 stock or the rules of thumb is

-.004" for every 50hp made by more boost. So a chipped 1.8T gaining 50hp should be about .028".

I am currently experimenting with that formula by going .026" since I am K04'ed to like 225hp - 240hp. I will do this and log block 020 for timing retard.

But ya .028" on chipped is right, I ran that for a while, good times...
