I rub with with 235/45/17's on 17 by 8's, you may have to roll your fenders.

Default depends on offset and tire manufacturer. i use to run on 18x8.5" offset 35mm with 235/40
kumho ecsta supra 712 w/o rubbing issues with 25.5" wheel well clearance (meaning 25.5" from the wheel well to the ground)

Default I have 17" CHs. It depends on how low you are. I have a 1 to 2 finger gap, and I rub against the
wheel liner with 235 tires. So I'm running 225 tires in the front.

Default Get the same sized tires in the rear also..
Dont want to deal with differntials or tranny problems down the line cause you are running different sized tires.

I rub running RS4 18x8 reps 235/40/18 +35 offset on Stasis Tracks (Koni/Hypercoil)
