could my T-bealt be why my power steering is groaning somtimes??

Default could my T-bealt be why my power steering is groaning somtimes??
considering the pump is 230 bucks from the dealer, I need to know ifii should replace it. I'm doing my t-bealt and water pump very soon and I was goignt o replace the power steering pump while i was in there. It groans when i turn the wheel and the car isn't warmed up. Might it just be the bealt slipping on the power steering pulley, or should i just replace it? TIA

Timing belt has nothing to do with power steering. Check the fluid first, it may just be low.

Default my pump failed at 105 Kmi...
do all the belts at least. they need to come off anyway, to do the tb. if the steering has no problems the pump is your call.

Default if its low....you might need to replace the clamps with hose clamps
make sure you get petosin type 11s fluid (green can)

dont get the white can with the 7 on it
