My dealer (Reno,NV) told me I could order one in May and it would come in Octover-November.

My $0.02: I decided against this b/c I think the new body style looks like a cheap version of the A6.

What if I order the car in July, will I still be able to get the 2001? I will be on a rental car and I won't be able to wait too much for the new audi. Some people tell me that in this time frame (June, July) I will only be able to get A4's off the lot. Does this make sense that audi only gives you two options?

1. Get an 2001 off the lot. Big chance you dont get the option combo you want.
2. Wait until november for the new 2002.

I wanna get the options I want and I dont want to wait for 5 or 6 months! What's wrong about that?!

I talked to a dealer in either May or June last year, and he told me that I couldn't order a 2000, only a 2001, or I could have him do a search of what other dealers had, and try my luck at finding the car with the options that I wanted.
