I'm due for my 18 months service. Are the following problems worth worrying about? In other words are they bad enough to get fixed?<p>1) There's a slight amount of oil build-up on the metal channel (heat shield?) below the valve cover gasket. I see no evidence of oil anywhere else nor any loss of oil level. Is this amount of leakage acceptable or should they change the valve cover gasket?<p>2) The fuel pump occasionally makes a perceptable whine? It's not real loud, but it's also not silent.
