Miles

I noticed yesterday when I got out of my car after work that I have a large crack in the piece of plastic stripping that runs on along the body of my A4 right underneath the driver's side door. The crack has split to form a hole that you can see the body of the car through. The thing is, I don't remember ever hitting anything, or even shutting anything in the door, that could have caused this crack. <br>I'm taking my car in for 15K service on Monday, and I'd like to get this fixed under warranty. I'm worried that the dealer might say that I must have hit something or somehow damages the stripping myself, denying my warranty claim. So, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has seen or heard of this problem<p>TIA<p>Miles
