First, keep in mind that you won't have power at the fuel pump fuse unless the engine is cranking or running.

The fuel pump relay should be #6, right-most relay of the group under the dash. Pull the bolster cover (4 screws to remove to it). One way to visually verify the relay is to remove its plastic cover, then plug back in and watch the contacts while you crank the engine. They should close, then open again when you quit trying to start. Also, since the fuel pump relay has continuous battery power on its terminal 30, you can use your finger to push the contact arm, while listening for the pump which should run. This verifies the battery-relay-fuse-pump motor circuit.

OK, so pushing the relay contacts together causes the pump to run, now will it do that by itself when cranking the engine? If the pump runs, and we'll assume it is pressurizing the fuel, next check for spark.

no it wont do it by itself, i have to manually press it together, yes i have spark, my next is to get a noide light to see if there is power at the injectors if not then im probably looking at a new camshaft position sensor. to my knowledge camshaft position controls injector timing and operation and the crankshaft position sensor controls spark timing.
