Crap! Help me! i used rubbing compound and now there are scratches everywhere

Default Crap! Help me! i used rubbing compound and now there are scratches everywhere

okay i was told to use this "wax" to remove all the wax on my car already so i listened to this person and used it on my a4. Well...long story short there are swirls everywhere and my car looks like ****! is there anything i can do or do i need to get a new paint job?

take a screw driver and gauge out your eyes...trust me...you won't give a rats *** about the paint.

here is a tip for next time......dishwashing liquid and water takes off wax.

Default i would say... try 3M Imperial hand glaze

its a swirl remover.... what color is the car?

well, in that case, they make IGH for dark colored cars... I know you pain.. I had body shop work done on a panel, and i still have some swirls, but its much harder to tell after a couple coats of IGH and Blitz One Grand wax

Default Depends.....

How bad are the swirl marks? Before you get a new paint job try this:

1. wash
2. clay bar
3. Meguiar's Scratch x
4. glaze
5. wax

** Meguiar's Scratch x and glaze work well for light scratches and swirls. I had the same problem and did the above steps. I was very pleased with the results**:
