I have an aftermarket head unit on my A4. Since I was not satisfied with the sound of the stock speakers I bought a pair of MB Quart QM 215.03 CX + adapters for the front doors. So my question is where to install those crossovers? I already removed the front door panel put I was not sure if there is enough room for installation. So can I fit them inside front doors or which is the best solution? <p>

I just had a huge stereo installed in my car, and we encountered similar problems with the crossover units for the Diamond Audio Hex series. In the end, we wound up running wire under the rear seat, and installing all four crossovers here. Plenty of room, out of sight, and relatively easy access for adjustment. Only drawback: running the extra wire. I'm really happy w/ how it turned out. Let me know if you have Q's.<p>Bryan<br>1.8tQM
