Default CV boot kit replacement question...
OK, this may be a stupid question, but i just got my outer CV boot replacement kit from ECS. I found the leak this weekend on the outer boot right by my front driver side tire. The boot that comes with this kit is Plastic. It felt like, when i found where the leak was, that the boot on my car right now was rubber. Is this the right kit i got?

I had gloves on. I want to do it this weekend so i want to make sure i got the right kit.

Default Never done it but my gut feeling tells me rubber >> plastic. I'd not put a plastic
boot on it. Unless, of course, these particular kits have a very good service history.

Default the boot is rubber, is the plastic flexible?
I'd run by the stealer and see if you can get one.

Default I just replaced both my front boots with plastic. It was...
more difficult to work with than rubber, and more expensive too. We'll see how it holds up.
