I have a rip in one of my CV boots. there is grease all over the place now!
has anyone here ever had to get a CV boot replaced? I believe this was done when my brother poked a screw driver through it while doing my coilovers.
any help would be appreciated!

Dealership quoted me close to $600 . . . I had an independant audi/mb/porsche shop do the work instead (all 4 cv boots replaced for $300).
This repair requires dropping the whole front axle . . . so might as well clean / regrease / replace all 4.

It's supposed to go in the tech section soon, but here's the link to the post. Good luck
