Default cv joint time!

I found out last night that my passenger side boot is torn. I just did a search on the topic and want to replace the entire axel. I looked at a couple sites for parts but could not find them anywhere.

1. Does anybody know where to a get a replacement? Should I stay away from Autozone/O'Riley's?

2. Is this pretty simple? I've done a few on some Honda's and am hoping its the same thing...

Thanks in advance!

Default 1. Get the OEM boot kit, it's only like $20

You don't want to get the AZ version only to have it leak ....and then you have to do it all over again.

2. Never done it on a Honda, but probably similar. Check out the step-by-step article in the Tech Section, under "Misc." Good luck

Default Re: cv joint time!

thanks guys. Looks easy enough. Wish I could find a decent one local. I've got some free time tomorrow and it would work out perfect...

Do you know if the online places still do cores?
