Damn chirping noise

Default Damn chirping noise

Raj.P from u.k here, i keep getting a chirping noise coming from the front of the engine when i start the car from cold while it is idling, it goes after a while but it is a pain .My car is a 1995 audi A4 Turbo Sport it has 50,000 on the clock i have changed the auxiliary belt & Tensioner a week ago but still i get this damn noise. any ideas i would be greatfull for any information thanks Raj

You could try a little 'belt dressing' on the belts. Loctite brand makes a good one.

Default Belt dressing is a lubricant made expressly for drive belts. It conditions the belt to aid in

eliminating slipage (a source of belt chirping or squeal) usually caused by glaze eitheron the belt or on the various pulleys. It also helps keep the belts flexible and aids in preventing cracking. Loctite corporation makes a good one. It is called Belt Dressing.
