well....i was at Ikea(furniture store) and parked my car next to a white accord or camry. when i got out, the f$#@er left a little white scratch about maybe 1/2 an inch. there is no chip or dent in the car just this white paint mark that is RELLY annoying me. can anyone give me some advice on how to remove this??? would wax work on it?

...Try a mild polish.
Meguirs Body Scrub works pretty well for small scratches & scuffs.
The next step up is Meguirs Mirror Glaze #7 "Showcar Glaze." That stuff has removed all sorts of scratches & swirls from all my cars, including scratches that I didn't think would come out. It has also minimized some larger scratches.
It actually sounds like your car got "scuffed" instead of scratched, which is a good thing.
The Showcar Glaze will take off that white paint without a problem. Be glad that your car didn't get dinged.
I would be hesitant to use compound because it could cause more harm than good if you are not careful. The polishing products are much easier to use -- just like a liquid wax.
Good luck,
Peter
