Damn whistling sound from turbo/engine (i dunno where) is driving me crazy! help!

Damn whistling sound from turbo/engine (i dunno where) is driving me crazy! help!
When i press on the gas it just sounds like a drill. I hear my turbo in the background but its embarassing having my Bessey (my audi) whistling like that- I dunno if im losing boost or somethings wrong???

Dont tell me that... a new turbo right now will kill me. How much is a new turbo anyways?
