To each his own. I like knowing my car isnt illegal and I dont like the idea of tricking my car..
into thinking there isnt a problem, test pipe and foulers. Side note, my old shop in NH wouldnt put a test pipe on. DEP fines are not small, wasnt there a guy from Mass on here that got hit recently? I know it wasnt cheap, but after what I read and things I was told, I made the choice that was best for me. Honestly if test pipes were legal, I would have saved the money. But since they are not, I went with the nicest cat. IMO, I think the Labree, Random and Techtonics all look cheap and low quality. Ill be damned if im gonna spend over $5000 on a stage 3 kit and have my welds give out, so im slowly peicing my own kit together.
