Darn Tranny making a whining noise like a power steering pump
1999.5 1.8 quattro AT... I really need some advise on this tranny issue before i go ahead a pull the trans again. now my trans is making a whining noise and sounds like a bad power steering pump all the time. I dropped the fluid and started from scratch. noise was still there. dumped 2 more quarts just to see if the noise would go away but nope. Is it a pump inside the trans... if thats not it, what the hell is it?....
