A Survey!!!!!
It seems to me from messages I've seen here over the last 3 months, that fewer and fewer 99.5 A4s are being bought for less than 5% over invoice. Of course this statement is just a generalization, but it sure seems to be the trend. It's also understandable considering the popularity of the A4, supply and demand is just tilting a little to the demand side.
If you've signed papers for a 99.5 (not 99) within the last 3 months ONLY, and your car had no "NON-AUDI" add-ons, PLEASE POST what was your real over/under invoice % was. You can get the current invoice amounts at www.edmunds.com. To calculate your true cost, include the base car price + ad fees (if any) + dealer handling & prep (if any), but don't add in tax, license or title costs. Make sure to add the $500 transportation cost to BOTH sides of the equation.
((cost / invoice) - 1) * 100 = percent over/under invoice, please round to the nearest 1/10 of a percent.
Post your answer in the message SUBJECT line: State, Engine Size, Body Style, Percent of invoice and "Off lot" or "Ordered".
Example 1: Ohio, 1.8T, Sedan, +5.5%, Ordered
Example 2: Flordia, 2.8, Avant, +7.0%, Off lot
Thanks!!!!

fall and winter are bad, spring and esp. summer are good.
By the way, you're pretty **** with your exact, unvarying instructions on how to post. Chill - and you should probably leave the surveys to the webmasters.
