Default Dealer Rumor...VERY BAD!!!!!!! if true that is.....

I was just talking to a good friend of mine, that works at a local speed shop, and he said that our local dealer is thinking about moving check-ups to every 20,000? right now they are going at 14,000. I think this is outrageous...isn't the oil suppose to be changed every 3-5k? And i don't think my tires were rotated last time i brought my car in for its 20k check-up. Can i go to the dealer and have them rotate them under warrenty? i would do it myself but i don't have the equipment.

Default Scheduled service is at AoA's discretion not the dealer.

And it's listed in your owner's manual as far as when its needed.

Plus the dealer gets cash for each service inspection done, so why would they even try to push them back?
