Is it considered to be “bad form” to start taking my car to a dealer other than the one I purchased it at for service? The reason I ask is I’m sick of having to coordinate the “fleet” (AKA friends/family) to get my car dropped off and then doing it all again to pick up my car, when I could take it about 20 miles farther and get a rental for free!!!! Have any of you purchased you cars from one dealer and take them somewhere else for service? TIA
Daktor71

Most dealers that offer loaners only provide them to people who bought from them. However, there are some who don't care. Talk to the dealer in questio to be sure, many don't provide loaners period.
Regards,

I bought from a dealer that offered service loaners to those who purchased from them. They are far away from me but I used them a couple times and wasn't crazy about the service attitude.
I switched to a dealer close by that does not offer loaners, but my schedule is flexible enough that it's not a huge burden on my wife.
<a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=161"
