HI all,<p>Went in for my 15K service and to have a couple of rattles fixed.<p>Picked up my car later in the afternoon, i was told that my rattles were fixed and they UPDATED MY ECU SOFTWARE...... I asked the service advisor the reason pf the upgrade, he told me that some earlier 1.8 ECU's have some bugs in it, therefore they did the upgrade.<br>Fearing the worst, i drove off hoping that my Neuspeed chip is still there.... but nope, the car feels like a stock 1.8T without the added acceleration of the chip.<p>anyone know if neupseed will reprogramm my chip? <p>Now i kinda wished that i went with Wett cause i could've switched to my stock chip and still have the Wett software...<p>Just thought i would let you people know.. keep your heads up when in for service....

The last couple of days there has been alot discussions about chip reprogramming on this board. And suddenly this post appears! No email, no dealer. I am not saying it didnt happen but I would just like to hear some more facts, i.e. dealer or at least who the poster is.<p>Jeff R.<br>a4 1.8T Neuspeed chip still programmed and 15k service coming soon!
